The Name of the Game

IGT, the global leader in gaming, is looking for a Solution Manager who can drive customer solutions from proposal definition to implementation understanding their technical needs and how the IGT portfolio of products can enhance their performance and growth in the gaming industry.

The scope of work includes providing constant support throughout the customer software delivery lifecycle ensuring that all design elements are in line with PD Product Strategy. Empowered by PD to work with Customer in shaping their strategic roadmap from technology perspective (with guidance from Large Solution Manager)

You will be the first person to contact in PlayDigital when a new Solution or an upgrade is proposed by the customer or organization, and also to gather technical feasibility or conduct opportunity assessment.

  • Strategic thinking at a customer / site level
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience in software development and/or architecture
  • Proven experience leading through influence
  • Experience managing work from and collaborating with both customers and technical teams
  • Strong communication and excellent writing skills
  • Technical lead or solution architect with good project management skills.
  • Experience in OOD & OOP (Java a plus)
  • Experience in databases, web technologies, data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
  • Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
  • Good knowledge of modeling (like UML)
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies
  • General knowledge of standard architectural patterns and best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and related methodologies
  • General knowledge about IT and IT industry
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

  • A key pillar of long-lived site teams
  • A PD evangelist trusted by both Customer, PlayDigital and IGT Lottery
  • The first person to contact in PlayDigital if you want to learn current PD tech stack of Customer, future PD stack, latest State Regulations impacting Digital solutions, any upcoming RPFs for that site
  • Design and take decisions about the PD Technical Solution specific to a Customer / site
  • Aware of the site-specific tech stack provided by teams outside of PD, such as IGT Retail Lottery or Advantage Casino;
  • Control correct usage of PD stack by non-PD suppliers
  • Creator and owner of execution strategy for any System Delivery at site
  • Give input as needed to issues like the tool and environment selection
  • Interact with Customer and stakeholders to identify project-specific NFR and help Software Architect make trade-offs or resolve technical problems.
  • Custodian of site-specific PD Environment Architecture and latest Bill of Materials
  • Approver of any PD hardware, software or Network changes for site
  • Participate in Solution demo and approve a release for deployment on Production environments (also applicable to Services)

Nice to have skills

  • Experience with private and public cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Experience with transaction processing
  • Knowledge of NoSQL technologies
