Over view
IGT is seeking a senior-level Software Engineer to support innovative, high-quality applications used by our lottery clients. The successful candidate will achieve this by following the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Working in a fast-paced environment, the applicant must be able to solve software engineering problems in a resourceful and effective manner. They will need to create and maintain robust software engineering solutions that adhere to design principles and anticipate future product features. The successful applicant will work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment to develop products through the software lifecycle, from requirements through deployment, and may investigate escalated field issues as needed. The applicant must be able to interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources of input and communicate expectations clearly and concisely to management/peers/clients. Applicant must be able to lead and mentor other engineers locally and in remote offices.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science required or equivalent.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering/development.
Experience with Object Oriented Design.
Cloud experience (MS Azure and AWS).
Extensive Java knowledge including SpringBoot, J2EE technologies.
Experience as a Full stack developer for 8+ years.
Extensive knowledge of: XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular.
Knowledge front end and back-end transfer protocols and security.
Experience with version control systems (github or equivalent)
Proven knowledge of architectural design patterns
Must have good written and verbal communications, be self-motivated, and work well in a team environment
Must be at least 21.
Occasional travel required.
