The SQA Engineer debugs software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.

•    Generates test documentation and executes tests to verify that the system performs as required.
•    Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.
•    Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
•    Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
•    Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
•    Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
•    Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
•    Ensures quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
•    Leads projects and mentors junior members of the team


•    Bachelor's degree or an advanced degree is preferred

•    Experience or knowledge of networking protocols, communication protocols, or network support/engineering is a strong asset. 
•    10+ years working with testing scripting tools such as XRay, jmeter, SOAPUI, Selenium
•    10+ years of test experience, including familiarity in the full software development lifecycle
•    Experience operating in waterfall / agile / scrum team environment
•    Task driven with a great attitude and ability to collaborate with other functional groups including development and production

•    Experience with packet sniffing tools such as Wireshark 
•    Experience with cloud environments
•    Experience with automated testing
•    Very strong troubleshooting skills
