Responsibilities

Program Management position within a group of 30+ people responsible for maintaining processes and tools used by IGT’s development and delivery teams to produce and provide our products to end customers.

The group is responsible for maintaining IGT’s CMMI certification with people versed in the best practices of process mapping and improvement.  The group also maintains various IT tools used for the implementation of project processes and metrics program. 

Tools include

  • BroadCom’s Program and Portfolio Management (PPM aka Clarity)
  • IBM’s DOORS requirements management tool
  •  IBM’s BPM business process manager tool
  • Atlassian’s JIRA, Confluence and BitBucket
  • Perforce and Subversion code repository tools, and various other tools used within project and software development lifecycle.

 

Candidate will be responsible for maintaining the groups strategic plan aligned with the CTO’s (Gaming & Lottery) objectives.  With an operating budget of ~$4.8M, the group represents a significant investment and therefore priorities must be aligned with key stakeholders. Formal stakeholder engagement and documentation skills are a must.  Candidate must possess solid financial skills to produce ROI and payback analysis reports for objectives.  Candidate must be experienced in standard IT Service Management (preferably candidates with ITIL certification and/or 5-10 years of ISO-20000 experience).

Candidate will also be responsible for being primary business system analyst for PPM user groups.  PPM is extensively used for portfolio and project management as well as time entry.  This role will serve as the conduit between the various user SMEs and the L1-L3 support teams and therefore must be fully cognizant of business process implementations within the tool and have sufficient technical capability to collaborate with the support engineers.  Candidates must have Project and/or Program Management certification (PMBOK, Prince2, etc.). Experience with BoardCom’s PPM tool is desirable, but not required.

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
