We are seeking a passionate, adaptive, and pioneering professional that is ready to take their creativity and industry-leading skills to the next level of gaming.  IGT is seeking a best-in-class Game Technology Product Manager to join its PlayDigital Casino team. 
This role calls for an articulate and energetic pioneer who can inform the right product and design decisions based on customer understanding, business acumen, analytical decision making, people skills, and a passion for games and entertainment. We have created a new game development platform that needs a strong hand guiding the feature needs for our developers, both internal and external. As IGT has a global footprint with offices around the globe, you will collaborate with teams across the world in the US, China, and Europe.

Responsibilities

•    Drive the product strategy and roadmap for our game development framework
•    Identify features and requirements to support game development 
•    Drive requirements clarity as needed by the engineering dev teams
•    Work closely with the engineering teams to create and manage the backlog, set priorities and represent the Product/customer side in day to day meetings
•    Work closely with the engineering teams to map out project dependencies to inform necessary sequence of development 
•    Key team player participating in each event of the development process including planning, refinement, implementation, and review
•    Work closely with the engineering team to perform bug triages, set fix priorities and make go/no go decisions 
•    Lead roadmap discussions for future needs and set timelines needed for Product features 
•    Liaison between business stakeholders and dev teams, driving decisions and providing clear,  timely communication to the dev teams
•    Work closely with Product Managers, Producers, cross-functional team leads, and business stakeholders to define, document, prioritize, and evaluate new features for our newly built online casino game development framework
•    Champion and drive innovation and technology improvements
•    Become a market expert, able to drive features that keep IGT ahead of the competition

Required Qualifications

•    3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Project Manager
•    An agile mindset and experience of contributing to or leading an agile development team
•    Experience working with Engineering teams, being able to clearly communicate requirements to dev teams as well as cross-functional teams such as QA etc.
•    Excellent communication skills so as to lead cross functional team communications as well as stakeholder communications
•    Ability to understand and discuss product design with the engineering teams
•    Demonstrable skills in interacting with stakeholders of diverse professional and cultural backgrounds 
•    Bachelor's degree that provides a solid foundation across business and/or technical fields 

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience in engineering and/or software development processes
•    Experience writing requirements, user stories etc.
•    Experience with Jira, MS Tools including SharePoint
•    Understanding of game design and popular gaming mechanics
•    Proven track record of collaboration with cross-functional teams, including artists, producers, designers, and engineers
•    Knowledge and experience working with HTML5 technology and web-based platforms
•    Experience with online casino gaming, whether social or for-wager, specifically slot gaming, table games, video poker, and/or games with progressives
•    Certification related to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe, Spotify, LESS)

First Year Goals

First 3 Months 
o    Develop relationships across peers 
o    Learn current market context for our games, including technology, features, and competition
o    Understand the current status of our development platform and identify gaps
o    Develop feature development strategy and prioritization with content teams
o    Define requirements on outstanding features in the development backlog
o    Contribute toward roadmap based on discussion with all stakeholders 

First 6 Months
o    Start execution on the roadmap with deliverables defined 
o    Develop a rolling tracking mechanism for feature implementation timelines 
o    Define timeline for future game type support
o    Broadcast roadmap for feature development across groups to all stakeholders
o    Develop a process to regularly review and update feature priorities based on internal and market feedback
