Responsibilities

Our IGT team is looking for a motivated and savvy digital analyst professional to be responsible for driving innovation with our day-to-day processes associated with the Kentucky Lottery’s Interactive channel, iLottery. We are looking for someone with passion, energy, intellect, and initiative that can bring fresh ideas. This person will work with the Interactive Marketing Manager, other members of the IGT team, and the client to collect requirements and data based on projects and day to day needs. This position will be based in either Kentucky or Rhode Island. 

  • Develops standard reports based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to provide a holistic view of the platform.
  • Provide integrated marketing analytical insights across digital channels to improve client decision-making.
  • Analyze online traffic data to map customer journey with an increased focus on customer segmentation strategies.
  • Conduct research on best practices and market trends.
  • Create ad hoc sales reports per lottery request.
  • Analyze current marketing and promotion effectiveness, provide insights on how to improve current campaigns, and identify new promotional opportunities.
  • Manage promotion operations and campaigns.
  • Validate, join, and then apply data in the development of marketing strategies, tactics, and measurement.
  • Measure and report on success of game launches. Should be able to identify trends regarding different types of game mechanics.
  • Identify trends in our National Response Center. Report back to the team how we can better serve our players.
  • Prepare presentations summarizing analyses and insights.
  • Other related job activity as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree in an analytical discipline (Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or another applicable field).
  • Experience with digital marketing and technology; including web analytics, email marketing, search marketing, social media, CRM and conversion marketing. Experience with promotional campaigns is preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics with a command of the terminology, methods, strategy, fundamental metrics, and the role of data in optimizing campaigns. 
  • Experience with creation of marketing dashboard reports.
  • Experience with web tracking, testing and optimization (i.e., A/B and multivariate testing.). Analyzing data that is retail product focused is a plus.
  • Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to effectively communicate to a spectrum of different teams and with the client.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Querying skills are a must.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.). Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Omniture). Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Business Objects).
