Role Overview

Job Location Flexible:   London, UK; Graz, Austria; Amsterdam, Netherlands; Romania

Contract:  currently Temporary – 6 Months

For this opportunity you will be supporting the collection activities of our EMEA Accounts Receivables with special focus on Eastern Europe, especially Romania and for supporting the overall sales and operations teams. The main responsibilities include but is not limited to the list below:

 

•    Resolving Customer & Sales Account Queries
•    Daily/ Weekly calling of all assigned customers collecting debts on behalf of IGT.
•    Negotiating payment plans with assigned customers in collaboration with commercial team.
•    Preparing customer statements from SAP including reviewing AR Aging report & governance.
•    Make comments on customer interactions, such as payments delay issues or changes and other activities.
•    Support the Credit department in assessing the new contracts/ deals mainly by providing internal data - AR aging & customer payment history for existing customers
•    Customer Credit limit checks & credit block removals
•    Support to create monthly Collection Forecast
•    You will have a working relationship with sales, sales ops, accounting, credit, FP&A and logistics
•    You will assist in managing relationships with the outsourced accounting team in India and local team
•    Unallocated cash – monitoring unallocated cash volumes and ensuring that cash allocations are applied to customer accounts in a timely manner and correctly allocated against customer invoices
•    Pursue legal cases for bad debtors where the debt is sent to a collection agency, legal attorney, liquidator. This includes providing supporting documentation and coordinating the submission of the case file.
•    Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial and budgetary reports
•    Special projects - Support in implementation of process improvement initiatives.
•    Audit support
 

 

Individual Requirements

•    Fluent in English and excellent communicator, verbal and written
•    Fluent in Romanian and excellent communicator, verbal and written
•    Quick learner; Flexible; Energetic; Professional Attitude
•    Preferably multinational exposure, with a good understanding of forex
•    Someone that will take ownership of their responsibilities; is improvement driven and wants to develop in the role and beyond
•    Problem solver / Good Analytical skills
•    Self-starter
•    Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
•    Possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity
•    Team player able to work extensively with various stakeholders
•    Good high-level communicator with high level analysis of financial information in English and Romanian both written and verbally.
•    Ability to work efficiently under time pressure. 
 

Preferred for the position

  • Proven track record of negotiating payments with customers
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Work experience in gaming, software industry, manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor (HBO) in accounting or finance
