The Director, Product Management Class II, will have responsibility for managing the offering creation and lifecycle for the company’s Class II product. This role will be responsible for collecting customer and market requirements and translating them into a specific product roadmap for both the North American and International markets.  The Director Product Management will create, develop, initiate and maintain the game strategy across the channel and customers based on target markets demands, product strategy, player segmentation and prioritization.  This will drive the strategy for content design and development for all assigned channels and to ensure that IGT releases top performing, market leading content. 

The objective is for IGT to have the top performing cabinets and products in each channel. The demand for games comes from across the organization as well as from the customers. Each channel has its own diverse set of requirements and complexities. Furthermore, the Director Product Management owns the content roadmap and decides on 3rd party content complementing the internal offering.

The Director Product Management will need to closely collaborate with the business leaders to create a strategy and establish the optimal game portfolio for assigned product channels. 

Responsibilities
  • Define the product strategy for the Class II segment, including go-to-market plans
  • Manage the entire Product lifecycle from concept to market deployment and results driven fine tuning
  • Act as a product champion with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify key initiatives to foster innovation in IGT Class II offering
  • Manage priorities to achieve business goals and ensure long term success of the Class II product line
  • Manage R&D budgets, from planning to game deliveries
  • Provide key market insights to game development teams in order to ensure proper attunement of gaming content to player needs and preferences in the different Class II jurisdictions
  • Evaluate product performance and define improvement initiatives
  • Support the sales team to close deal with strategic customers
Qualifications
  • Ten+ years of product management-related experience
  • Previous significant experience on Class II market required
  • Gaming content knowledge and understanding is a strong plus
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and communicate effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent written, verbal, and face to face communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Performance driven, detail and results oriented
  • Advanced business degree a plus.
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Office Suite
