The role of Marketing Data Specialist is a support role in the Business Intelligence and Marketing Analytics team. This position handles large volumes of raw data, organizing that data into various data sets, and provides initial insights into the instant ticket sales, revenue, and marketing data.



  • Extract, review and translate raw data into various game attributes for analysis.
  • Organize data into Microsoft Excel in proper format for upload or data transfer to various systems. 
  • Review and analyze basic data to identify any patterns, trends or indicators. 
  • Create or edit PowerPoint presentations to relay data analytics into a presentation format. 
  • Merge various data sets or sources into total data based on game type, sales region, or other defining factors for cross functional analysis. 
  • Work with various stakeholders from other departments to collect, prioritize, and manage various marketing or sales projects.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, systems, or standards of practice in the work of the Business Intelligence and Marketing Analytics group. 
  • Manage workload to ensure all tasks and assignments are completed accurately and on time. 
  • Present information effectively to internal customers and respond in a timely, accurate manner for information requests. 
  • Act as a primary administrative support for the Business Intelligence and Marketing Analytics team.

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience Required (years of experience, specific industry or previous job experience requirements)

  • 2+ years of experience from a related industry or position, such as marketing, data analysis, etc


Skills Required (software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

  • Microsoft Excel, intermediate to advanced (formulas, functions, etc)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint, basic to intermediate
  • High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and recognize patterns inside large data sets
  • Strength in meeting deadlines based on project timelines
  • Problem solving and self-starting are also key traits for success in this role
  • Must be able to navigate folders/files on the company network and enter data into basic databases


Preferred Education, Experience or Skills (preferred degree(s), software, experience, equipment, etc)

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study, such as marketing, data science, etc
  • Experience with Tableau or other visual data software a plus
  • Prior experience in a role where using data analytics drove strategic decisions
  • Ability or desire to present verbal or written presentations to stakeholders
