Summary

As an intern, this person would support the Systems Administrators in software, hardware, and end user support. The internship role is paid and available for 12-25 hours per week. This position is located at our Lakeland facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service for each user, using language that is easily understood by non-technical clients.
  • Support the systems located on the packaging and production floor
  • Image desktops and laptops to prepare for employee use
  • Assist with setting up A/V solutions for meetings
  • Assign site associated tickets to the appropriate teams to resolve
  • Create tickets to track end-user support for historical reference tracking
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures and plans for IT management
  • Accurately and efficiently diagnose and resolve problems related to the use of corporate resources and applications.
     

Qualifications

Education Required (high school, college degree, training, or certifications requirements)

Undergraduate college student pursuing an education in Computer Science, IS, or Technology with a GPA of at least 3.0

Skills Required (example: software, technical, industry, equipment, lifting, and physical requirements)

  • Must be proficient in P.C. based applications (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Understanding of network-based printer and copiers
  • Basic knowledge of desktop support and database operating systems
  • Punctual, strong work ethic, positive attitude, organized, and has an intense desire to learn
