Responsibilities

IGT Indiana, on behalf of the State Lottery Commission of Indiana, is currently recruiting a Retail Project Specialist.  The Retail Project Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with marketing and sales staff including the Corporate Accounts teams to support initiatives in order to accelerate business objectives.  

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Retail Marketing – Assist the Retail Experience Manager with monthly point-of-sale planning and development, shopper marketing and Key Account initiatives, project status updates, promotional calendars, and retail marketing communication with the marketing and sales teams.  Attends meetings with the agencies, product and campaign briefs, regional sales meetings, and monthly store visits.
  • Key Account Team liaison – Works with Key Account Team to determine marketing support needs by attending meetings. Coordinates with the agencies or internal studio staff to develop point-of-sale, advertising, promotions, and other tools that can be customized or co-branded to aid corporate sales efforts. Works with interactive staff to ensure website and social content is up to date, including digital content for Key Accounts. 
  • ESMM– Monthly Develops monthly message strategy, creative concepts, and communication with IGT Ops to ensure that new products, promotions, winner awareness and “Where the Money Goes” efforts are appropriately supported with in-store digital media. 
  • Winner Awareness – weekly review and distribution of winner reports and ongoing management of production to provide signage to retailers within a timely manner of a significant win. Also provides winner awareness information and marketing assets to the Key Account Team to promote significant wins with Key Account partners through social graphics. Reviews and improves winner awareness templates and procedures yearly to keep it fresh and impactful, while maintaining brand standards

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree from accredited College or University

Experience

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience within a marketing function. Preferred experience withing a marketing function with a concentration in retail and/or packaged goods market.

Essential special training requirements

  • Excellent time and project management skills;
  • Must have attention to detail and an ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks; 
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to align with existing processes or create new processes to ensure efficiency in business; 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral;
  • Ability to collaborate with various teams and build collaborative relationships; 
  • Decisive: Capable of delivering quick solutions to the marketing troubles;
  •  Ability to listen to others and communicate in an effective and timely manner.
