OVERALL OBJECTIVE AND PURPOSE

 

Installation and support of the hardware and software infrastructure, systems security and peripherals for IGT Indiana.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides accurate, timely and creative solutions to end user computer and networking problems of moderate to complex nature to ensure client productivity. 
  • Performs restorative and maintenance actions either remotely or at the client location to resolve clients problems, using basic troubleshooting and technical skills. 
  • Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software installations, moves and configuration changes. 
  • Maintain accurate information and data regarding client issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards. 
  • Assists in the evaluation of business problems, evaluates, and recommends vendor packages, and implements required software. 
  • Assists in the evaluation of new personnel client computing packages and equipment as well as in the implementation and testing of prototypes. 
  • Consults with client area management and staff regarding PC / server and LAN systems and equipment problems or malfunctions and recommends solutions.
  • Provide first level support for Microsoft Office including SharePoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Knowledge of VMware
  • Knowledge of Mobile Device Support,  iPhone / iPad troubleshooting.
  • Assists with other projects as assigned.
Responsibilities

The media duplication technician is primarily responsible for producing high quality EPROM and software copies by operating EPROM “burning” and software duplications devices. Executes assigned routine technical processes in an assigned function.

Produces and verifies high quality EPROM and software copies and other circuitry by operating EPROM “burning” and software duplication devices

  • Receives and reviews incoming job orders for quantity, materials, time frame and special handling
  • Participates in planning or plans work requests to optimize utilization of equipment
  • Selects correct duplication apparatus and program or algorithm to meet requirements of each work order
  • Reviews blanks and unduplicated materials to ensure appropriate selection for job at hand
  • Sets-up, adjusts and may calibrate EPROM burning and software duplication devices to ensure that specifications are met
  • Operates EPROM burning and software duplicating machines
  • Participates in resolving set-up and duplication quality issues
  • Participates in auditing duplicated materials and components for compliance with specifications
  • Participates in coordinating services from other areas, such as inventory control and purchasing, to facilitate duplication processes
  • Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs of duplicating equipment
  • Participates in control of raw and finished goods inventory
  • Follows ISO certification documented procedures and controls
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or High School diploma or equivalent
  • Has basic knowledge of I.T and or gaming industry regulations
  • Has basic level proficiency with several relevant ERP tools
  • Has basic knowledge of EPROM duplications and Software and related media duplication equipment and processes
  • Has basic knowledge of EPROM burning and software duplicating equipment, auditing and testing
  • Exhibits professional and autonomy. Demonstrates knowledge of techniques needed, and experience in dealing with the processes
