JOB TITLE:  Graphic Designer









The Graphic Designer is responsible for performing design, layout and development of printed pieces, digital materials, and promotional items associated primarily to Hoosier Lottery marketing initiatives.

This position works closely with multiple individuals and multiple departments within the organization to ensure marketing elements are designed and produced in the most efficient fashion.



  • Designs and produces visually exciting print and electronic marketing communication pieces
  • Works with existing graphic design elements to create internal and external communications materials including but not limited to in-store point of purchase, banners and signage, flyers, coupons and web-related items
  • Creates and prepares visual aids for incorporation into a variety of internal Lottery pieces designed for employee, management and other State Officials’ information, as well as for communications media or general public
  • Packages, prepares and reviews art for print and other vendors as directed
  • Consults with supervisor and team members to evaluate individual project needs
  • Assists in document and artwork routing and approvals
  • Assists with special projects
  • Performs other required tasks as assigned

Join IGT’s Marketing Communications team to strengthen connections to our clients. The motion designer/videographer will be responsible for the conceptualization and design of lottery marketing communications from concept to completion for a wide spectrum of projects including marketing collateral and tradeshow graphics.

The ideal candidate will have a graphic design background, strong conceptual skills, experience producing client-driven work, and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative designs while meeting multiple project deadlines.


  • Adding a professional polish to an existing video or crafting videos from the ground up
  • Using innovative design and motion to tell a visual story
  • Working closely with the content expert and Marketing Communication team to strategize and produce original content
  • Maintain brand standards and work within brand guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 3-5+ years of in-house or agency graphic design experience
  • Advance knowledge of typography, composition, color, and editorial storytelling principles
  • Strong understanding of video formats, compression techniques, and format requirements/constraints
  • Demonstrated knowledge of production equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio
  • Ability to work on multiple projects from concept to completion, while adhering
    to project timelines
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Mac OS X user
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator)
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Photography skills are a plus

† Minimum education

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university or specialized education institution wherein graphics, art photography or illustrative artwork subjects were learned.

5-10 years industry experience

† Essential special training requirements

  •  Demonstrated proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
    and Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Required.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects Video/Motion Graphics experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to time manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, communicate with vendors and colleagues
  • Extensive experience working on a Mac platform
  • Attention to detail, customer-service orientation, and creativity in problem-solving
  • Ability to work in a team as well as work independently and strong communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced print production knowledge
  • Retail design expertise preferred
