Overview

IGT Indiana is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to help coordinate digital support as part of a broader effort to enhance player engagement and winner awareness across our digital platforms. The Specialist, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, will be integral in content creation to increase player participation in the myLOTTERY membership program through the website, mobile app, email, SMS, and social channels. The role must develop an understanding of the organization’s brand strategy, personality and tone, and digital’s role in achieving overall marketing goals. To support our digital marketing team, the Specialist also develops and manages the execution of myLOTTERY promotions, social media giveaways, digital coupons, and assists in segmentation using data management platforms, all to drive player loyalty. The ideal candidate is well-versed with CRM technology, with a preference for Braze.

The position requires a person who is a self-starter, externally oriented, and works well in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to: Show expertise and experience across digital platforms including technology and success metrics/evaluation; Stay abreast of emerging digital trends; Exhibit creativity and innovative ideas; Display skilled written communication and creative writing; Work well on teams, collaborating on campaigns with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders with varying degrees of marketing experience; Be a proactive individual with strong planning and organizational skills.

The candidate will ensure adherence to the Marketing Code of Conduct and Responsible Gaming standards and help deliver IGT Indiana’s revenue commitments.  
 

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with advertising and digital agencies to support consistent campaign content by routing campaign assets to internal marketing team and provide finalized feedback to agencies 
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of assets for use on digital and social channels
  • Orchestrate and execute relevant, high-quality content for digital space linked to key player segments in support of marketing initiatives including winner stories, player stories, and promotion communications
  • Draft, prepare, publish, and track weekly winner awareness and lottery event awareness to ensure seamless execution of winner and event content amongst marketing channels
  • Manage player inquiries, identifying, escalating, and monitoring technical issues affecting members, assisting myLOTTERY members with account issues, and assisting in maintaining the database of myLOTTERY members
  • Develop and coordinate the execution of digital coupon promotions for myLOTTERY and brand campaigns across digital channels
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to develop, implement and manage innovative sweepstakes/promotions to drive greater relevance, engagement, and grow social communities
  • Manage and execute promotional drawings, manage prize distribution, and track results
  • Conducts in-person interviews and takes photos of winners claiming prizes at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters
  • Define and own reporting metrics and KPIs for digital space, regularly reporting on engagement, traffic, and ROI
  • Support Data Management Platform segmentation through LiveRamp
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple Hoosier Lottery stakeholders
     

Education & Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. degree, with a concentration in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in marketing; digital experience preferred
  • Business-to-Consumer marketing experience within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills, including ability to communicate courteously and work effectively with the public, particularly adults of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds
  • Exceptional project management and task orientation, ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to interact and collaborate with colleagues from all levels of the organization
  • Strong strategic planning, analytic and research skills to identify needs, opportunities, and solutions
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Understanding of CMS (content management system) and CRM (customer relationship management) platforms
  • Ability to function independently, which includes prioritizing and organizing work
  • Ability to analyze problems and make appropriate decisions
