Responsibilities

Review of business requirements.

Collects, organizes, and analyzes test requirements and works with project stakeholders to develop test artifacts such as test plans, test cases/scripts.

• Should work on functional, automation, and performance test activities and execute test activities such as Planning, Estimations, Design, Execution, and Reporting

• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for the bug fixes and extensive troubleshooting in distributed/High availability environments

• Collects, organize and analyzes statistical information from a variety of sources (both technical i.e. weblogs, and nontechnical i.e. product side) to support high-quality test design.

• Should be able to design automation artifacts (scripts, functions, libraries, scenarios, processes) for complex automated testing situations using effective tools.

• Work closely with key departmental colleagues such as Developers, Architects, DevOps, and fellow testers to accelerate the work.

• Design necessary documentation (Test Plans, Test Reports, or any supporting documents)

Qualifications

Should have 4 to 6 years of testing experience against large scale enterprise systems

• Should have experience in testing of software products in agile methodologies (SAFe is more preferred)

• Should have experience in various quality engineering functions such as functional, performance, and automation. Technical experience is more favored for this position.

• Think scalability, reusability, and efficiency in product test automation. Front and back end automation testing using Selenium, ReadyAPI, JMeter

• Deep understanding of DevOps tools sets, which is important to establish automation artifacts with CI/CD pipelines

• Constantly evaluates an approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, components, and object repository methods, etc.)

• Should have experience in various databases: DB2, Oracle, which helps check the databases during the test life cycle.

• Strong experience in Groovy, Java, and Python programming languages and solid experience in Seleniumbased test automation solutions/frameworks

A college-level degree in a systems or software technical field, preferably computer sciences with solid mathematical foundations.

• Systems and software engineering knowledge and test professional certifications are added advantage
