Responsibilities

**This position qualifies for a $500 Sign-On Bonus!**

A Inventory Control Clerk provides merchandising support at retailer (customer) locations along an assigned route, ensuring that supplies do not fall below minimum requirements. Responsible for filling merchandise, updating point of sale and discussing specific initiatives with Michigan Lottery retailers.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Follow a bi-weekly assigned route as defined by geographical boundaries
  • Refresh Point of Sale (P.O.S.) materials
  • Fill retailer equipment or dispensers, assuring Lottery footprints are set to customer standards.
  • Communicate with appropriate personnel to maximize Lottery's presence in targeted accounts
  • Discuss Lottery initiatives with retailers
  • Generate required reports as requested
  • Take appropriate follow-up action on all customer queries in conjunction with Supervisor
  • Record daily activities for review by designated IGT and Lottery personnel
  • Answer consumer questions on games/promotions and educate on lottery products.
  • Uphold the Lottery brand in the highest regard

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent required
  • 1 year customer service, sales, or merchandising background is required
  • Prior exposure to lottery and/or marketing techniques are highly preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, primarily when dealing with the public.
  • Ability to maintain composure when working under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license is required, must maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment.
  • Must be able to pass a background screening.
