Overview

IGT PlaySports is the U.S. market leader for B2B sports betting technology.  Commercial operators, tribal casinos, and lotteries large and small rely on IGT PlaySports in more than 20 U.S. states and Canadian provinces.  From world-class trading and book management to operations, marketing, and training, we help sportsbooks get in the game.

IGT Inside PlaySports, functional teams are closely integrated, and everyone is part of the action.  The Compliance team guides our sports betting team through jurisdictional requirements to earn the trust of regulators and players.  The Compliance Analyst is part of the compliance team yet works daily with project managers, traders, relationship managers, and customer support.  Typical activities involve identifying and researching anomalies, conducting a preliminary assessment, and working with other compliance team members to determine follow-up.  These can include detailed root cause analysis, regulatory reporting, and implementation of mitigation to prevent a recurrence.

Essential Traits

 

  • 2-5 years of auditing, accounting experience, or other experience in sports betting following a critical path—the facts need to add up.
  • Formal compliance experience is not necessary.  Having a good sense of right and wrong is essential.
  • Comfortable working on a fast-paced, driven team, spanning multiple countries, cultural differences, and communication channels.
  • Continuous learner – curious - comfortable with technology.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Must be willing to flex schedule to accommodate sports season operational needs (i.e. Mondays & Tuesdays off during football season, returning to “standard” schedule in off-season).
  • A sense of urgency and purpose while working calmly, collaboratively, and keeping your sense of humor.

  • Verifying audits of wager menus and configurations to jurisdictional authorized bet catalogs.
  • Reviewing sports data feed errors, impact, and corrective measures.
  • Investigation of customer complaints.
