Responsibilities

IGT is the leader in slot game development and is looking for a Game Studio Senior Manager to take this to a whole new level. The mission of the Lighthouse Studio is to build on the successful foundation of IGT's 3rd Party Partner Program.

The position is unique in that it requires close collaboration with 3rd parties, Content Management and the internal studio team ensuring alignment in expectations in support of IGT's 3rd Party Partner Program.

This position requires a dynamic leader that can plan for, direct and drive:

  • A creative team of producers, project managers, and engineers;
  • An engineering support team supporting 3rd parties developing games on IGT's external GDK;
  • Communication and cooperation between internal and external teams;

The position is responsible for complete end to end casino slot game development in an agile environment to create industry leading products. This position is challenging and exciting and requires vision, market intelligence and a person in touch with the casino market and what slot players enjoy. The opportunity to lead every slot development discipline from Game Design, Math, Producers, Prototyping, Software Engineers, Sound Engineers, Artists (2D, 3D, Animators), Video Production, Technical Artists, Development Testers and Project Managers in a studio organization is a defining moment in career development.

Fully accountable for the delivery of games of the highest quality as per the agreed and published portfolio on time and within budget.

Must have strong market knowledge and work with the team on innovation and tool development.

Must be able to develop relationships and partnerships, not only within the studio organization, but with key business groups across the company including Content Management, Product Management and Realization, Product Assurance and Brand Licensing.

Must have the personality and ability to attract, develop and retain strong talent in the studio with a key focus on future leadership and succession planning.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
  • Must place a high priority on attendance and punctuality
  • Must have experience with most MS Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Experience with Issue Tracking Software/database and Enterprise Resource Systems (e.g. Serena and SAP) are preferred.
  • Ability to critically think about and analyze issues for resolution and articulate ideas to ensure clear understanding-Ability to create, foster and maintain positive working relationships and exhibit patience and understanding.
  • Must exhibit a professional and courteous demeanor
  • Ability to communicate clearly in oral, written and electronic formats with all levels of employees, including top tier management, if necessary
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and exhibit professionalism in the face of adversity
  • Must be able to pass a security investigation
  • Able to stand an eight-hour shift
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Able to obtain a Gaming License
  • Able to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Available to work on weekends
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
