Responsibilities

This positions covers North and South Jamaica. The ideal candidate will reside in South St Andrew, St Catherine, Clarendon, Manchester, St Elizabeth, and Westmoreland

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Procall, Dispatch and Field Services departments respectively  to meet Consumables Distribution, Instants distribution, and Draw Based Game Sales KPIs.
  • Weekly analysis of Draw based games and Instants sales to identify variances and anomalies that may be of concern and develop action plan to remedy same.
  • Weekly analysis of competitive environment to identify threats and opportunities at the retailer level and develop action plan to remedy same.
  • Schedule visits to lottery outlets in your assigned territory to ensure team members are compliant with journey plan, instants KPI’s, consumables distribution standard and optimization plan to exploit value creation opportunities
  • Devote keen attention to high selling lottery outlets and all Supreme Ventures Regional Offices within assigned territory
  • Ensure you visit all outlets within your territory at least once per year.
  • Ensure that retail outlets are merchandised by assigned ADR in keeping with IGT Jamaica’s approved planogram.
  • Ensure Point of Sales Materials are current and relevant at all locations.
  • Schedule field accompaniment with each direct report to evaluate competence, identify areas of development, provide coaching and in field training. 
  • Identify and document areas of development for each team member
  • Schedule follow up coaching sessions with each direct report based on identified deficiencies and agreed Individual development plan.
  • Provide full coverage of sales territory of direct reports who are on sick leave, vacation leave or otherwise unavailable.
  • Coordinate with the sales coordinator to ensure that vacation leave is scheduled appropriately for all direct reports while minimizing risk to effective coverage of their assigned territories.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration or related area

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Field Sales or Merchandising Supervisor within a FMCG, Manufacturing or Distribution company or similar environment.
  • Strong experience leading negotiations with retail partners 
  • Experience managing a team across a wide geographical area:
